Who We Are
Departments of Corrections is a Law Enforcement Agency that works hand in hand with the other LEO Agencies in city to help transport inmates to the Bolingbroke Penitentiary state prison for x amount of time depending on the crimes they committed. We also plan to be able to assist PD with transports to the court house with any court cases in the very near future. DOC also offers rehabilitation services to inmates with jobs that provide resources that they can keep when they have served their time in prison.
Our Services
What We Offer
We provide employment opportunities within the prison that can help inmates reduce their sentences. Our facility includes a cafeteria that offers meals and medical supplies to support their well-being while serving their time. Additionally, we have an on-site doctor available to treat any injuries or health issues that may arise.
To encourage good behavior, we award "prison stars" to inmates who demonstrate positive conduct. Inmates can either keep these stars or store them in their prison lockers. These stars can be redeemed for the rental of BMX bikes during their time here.
